Traffic Management and Traffic Safety; Overhead Line Road Freight Transport
Özgür Öztürk has been working at the Institute of Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering for several years and is mainly involved in teaching the GPEK I course. Within the framework of the ELISA II-B research project, Mr Öztürk is deeply involved in the functioning and effects on humans and nature of overhead line-bound heavy traffic.
Özgür Öztürk, Ph.D., completed his doctorate at Rutgers The State University of New Jersey in 2014 on the topic of “Investigating impact of work zones on crash frequency, severity and traffic”. From 1 January to 30 June 2018, Özgür Öztürk supported the IVV as a visiting professor. He joined the IVV team as a postdoctoral researcher in July 2018.
