Dipl.-Ing. Matthias Altenhein has been a lecturer at the Institute of Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering since 2005. In addition to his involvement in the lecture "Planning of Public Transport", Matthias Altenheim was also active in January 2014, 2015 and 2016 at the Vietnamese German University (VGU) in Ho-Chi-Minh-City (Vietnam). Here, too, Matthias Altenhein gave a lecture at the same event.

  • April 1991 – June 1993: Traineeship in urban construction in Darmstadt and Frankfurt
  • June 1993: Graduation with Grand State Examination
  • July 1993 – September 1996: Employment with the city of Darmstadt in traffic planning
  • October 1996 – June 1997: Managing Director of the Darmstadt-Dieburg Regional Transport Association (RNV) in Darmstadt
  • Since July 1997: Managing Director Darmstadt-Dieburg Local Transport Association (DADINA) in Darmstadt
