Stay Abroad

There are particularly close contacts with Japan (University of Nagoya, Tokyo University), China (Tongji University, Shanghai), India (Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Indian Institute of Technology Chennai, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore) and Vietnam (University of Transport and Communications, Hanoi). The existing network is maintained and expanded through joint research projects, the exchange of students and doctoral candidates, joint specialist seminars and internationally oriented degree programmes. In Hochiminh City (Saigon, Vietnam), the Institute has played a leading role in the establishment of the TRC – Transport Research Center at the Vietnamese German University.
